Trip Information

This 13-day Everest Base Camp Economy Trekking has been designed by the Mount Fishtail Adventure after realising the desire of the trekkers to touch the mountains despite the inadequate holidays with the limited budget. The Everest Base Camp Trekking has been listed among the top destinations in the world. This is the must-do adventure trekking at least once in the lifetime.

Everest Base Camp Economy Trekking focuses on the fantastic views of Mount Everest (8,848 metres), the world’s highest mountain and other mountain ranges. The Everest Base Camp, being at an altitude of 5,364 metres, the trekkers further ascend to the maximum height of 5,545 metres at Kalapatthar that offers the marvellous view of Mount Pumori, Lingtren, Khumbutse,  Changtse, Lhotse mountains surrounding the Mount Everest. The sunrise and sunset views from here look wonderful as the mountains illuminate bathing in the sunlight.

We take a 40-minute domestic flight from Kathmandu to the Lukla-based Tenzing-Hillary Airport from where the trekking starts.

In this trip, Namche Bazaar, a market at the base of Himalayas offers opportunities to explore the lifestyles, cultural and traditional values of the native Sherpas and other descendants of Tibetan people. The oldest monasteries in Tyangboche are equally admirable. The travellers get the glimpse of snow-capped mountains all the time during this trek. The country lifestyle of Himalayas can be experienced here amid the settlements, fields, and farms. The Buddhist monasteries, together with the prayer flags, mani walls, chortens are the elements that showcase the Buddhism in the mountainous Nepal.

The splendid view of mountains such as Ama Dablam peak, Island Peak, Nuptse and several other mountains add flavours as we visit Dingboche village. This adventurous trip is the actual trekking or hiking on the surface of the Khumbu Glacier as we head for the Everest Base Camp.

My friend and I would like to go to the Everest Base Camp. Some agencies in Thamel proposed us a full package with all included. The best part of Mt Fishtail Adventure is the way to select what you really want : they are so convenient ! Also, all the guys working on this agency are super nice. The boss recommended us to take a porter because it could be hard for beginners to go to an high altitude. And he was right ! Fortunately..... Our porter Haschich has been so brave and patient. Thank you ! Sujan, who works on the agency, brought me to the immigration center to extend my visa. He didn't ask me for any money.  And thanks for all the others guys working there who have really been nice and welcoming !  Go, go to this agency located in Thamel and start you dream... See you soon guys we love you !  Tony and Gui !
