This was definitely the adventure of a lifetime. I grew up in Colorado and have climbed all of it's 14,000' mountains, but to see the incredible Himalayan peaks along the EBC route up close was truly an awesome experience. Mount Fishtail Adventures took very good care of us during the 13 day trek, and we were honored to have the company owner, Narayan Paraluji as our guide.
Upon our arrival in Kathmandu, one of the only things that we wanted to do for sure was see the Himalayas. We decided that a mountain flight would be the best idea with the amount of time we had there. So, after perusing through Thamel, and seeing MANY travel agencies boasting mountain flights, we randomly walked into Mount Fishtail Adventure and we are SO glad that we did. Narayan went above and beyond to help our dream come true. He found us reasonably priced tickets, accompanied us to the airport on multiple occasions very early in the morning (as our flight was cancelled a few times), and was even able to get a refund for my boyfriend's ticket, as he was down and out with a sad bout of food poisoning and couldn't make our last and successful (for me, anyway!) flight. Narayan is kind and detail-oriented, and the office was professional. He even gave us great suggestions for food and activities nearby. We are beyond excited to return to Nepal to go on an Everest Base Camp Trek, and Narayan has already emailed us all the details we need. We'll definitely be going through Mount Fishtail Adventure for our next Himalaya adventure! Thank you Narayan & team! See you soon!
