Island Peak is 6187 meters high and one of the most popular and busy trekking peak in Nepal, also known as Imja Tse. This mountain is named as Imja Tse in 1983. Island Peak climbing is truly adventurous for thrill seekers and offers a great view of the Himalayan Peaks giving an alternative to the full-scale expedition. Island Peak was first climbed in 1953 by a British expedition team as a training course for Everest expedition.
