Island Peak is 6187 meters high and one of the most popular and busy trekking peak in Nepal, also known as Imja Tse. This mountain is named as Imja Tse in 1983. Island Peak climbing is truly adventurous for thrill seekers and offers a great view of the Himalayan Peaks giving an alternative to the full-scale expedition. Island Peak was first climbed in 1953 by a British expedition team as a training course for Everest expedition.
Climbing island Peak provides not only a pleasant climb but also reward with best panoramic views in the world. You can explore the world highest peaks like Lhotse (8501m), Nuptse (7864m), Lhotse Shar (8386m), Ama Dablam (6814m) and Makalu (8475m) in the east, almost touching the tip of your nose. This short trip to Island peak provides you with the lifetime experience taking you to many cultural sites, traditional Sherpa villages, Tibetan monasteries and of course the magical Himalayan sights.
